Steve Montgomery is a Vancouver-based rock musician writing and recording under the SkipRock Multimedia banner. His music sits at the intersection of classic rock energy, power-pop hooks, and straightforward guitar-driven songwriting.
Starting with Better Late Than Never, Skiprock in 2008, Steve has released a steady stream of independent albums, each one rooted in real songs and real guitars. Alone In A Room and Hwy 3A showed a more melodic, reflective side, while Shut Up And Rock (2015) turned the volume back up and Time To Rock! (2024) keeps it there.
In 2026, Steve released Living the Dream Right Now, a nine-track collection that blends his signature rock sound with a brighter, upbeat spirit. From the opening riff of "Crazy Town" to the anthemic closer "I Gotta Rock!", the album is a reminder that great rock music is alive, loud, and still fun.
